Don't Tell the Bride ....

.... or any one else if that's your idea!!

Part of Marie and I preparation for our big day includes a weekly viewing of "Don't tell the Bride", as we settle down to watch the show with a cup of tea talk is usually around plans for the week, guest list and any visit planned to wedding fairs.

... But once the TV program starts we tend to sit in wonder with mouths wide open in amazement (and often letting our tea go cold) ... Seriously guys are you really that much of a tool! This weeks episode started with a guy who played football before getting an IT job and his bossy wife who the narrator kept calling a "want to be WAG".

If you no idea what "don't tell the bride" is, it is a TV program on BBC3 where a couple is given £12,000 and 3 weeks  to arrange the wedding, sounds like a good deal right? .... well it is until you read the small print. The groom has to arrange the wedding .... no contact with the bride at all.

Sound like a nightmare Ladies? Well in this weeks episode the Groom thought it would be a good idea to send his bride on a roller coaster on the day of here wedding and then sender to get her hair done while in here wedding dress. Would your better half do that girls?

As the program plays out Marie and I usually come to the same conclusion:-

1. I never want to buy a wedding dress for Marie
2. Marie never wants me to have full control of our wedding.

On Sunday we are taking the the mummys over to a wedding fair at Holdsworth house in Halifax .... Report to come :)
